STEM & MARKET STALL

We have been rather busy in Room 18. Currently, we are in the design and engineering stages of constructing either a carousel or ferris-wheel for the STEM project and learning journey later this term. Furthermore, an afternoon was spent creating 'boomerang' bags for our market stall. Thank you to Mrs Kelly, Mrs Williams and Mrs Forrest for all of your help and support with the making of these bags. It was great to be able to reuse and re-purpose an item of clothing and put it to good use. The children certainly learnt a life skill and some have created more of these bags at home.

Our market stall was a big hit. $71.00 was raised which will go towards the purchase of some new plants for the vegetable garden as well as a donation to an environmental agency (which is yet to be decided.) Thank you to everyone who purchased something and supported our stall. It is a fantastic learning opportunity for all of the children.
